Meet Hart's New Principal

Families of Hart High School,

My educational career began at Hart High School in 2002. I consider myself lucky to return to such a great school and become its next Principal.  As Principal, I want to partner with you and lead our staff to provide a consistent education to all of the students who walk through our gates.  In teaching Special Education, math, coaching football, and becoming an Assistant Principal at Hart all before my tenure across town at Canyon High School, I truly believe that Hart is my home and I am excited to be back!

I look forward to many years to come as Principal of Hart High School and I welcome each of you to reach out to me at any time.  Our administrative team will be happy to answer any questions you may have and our teachers will be providing that quality education to your sons or daughters.  Should any concerns come about, my door is always open to examine what you may believe needs to change, but I can guarantee you that our staff will stand behind their work as they are “Alive With Pride!”

As I want to be able maintain our honor and pride, build capacity in college and career readiness, communicate often, and improve in all areas of the California Department of Education’s Dashboard, you will find that although Hart is and will continue to do great things, we may look at areas that we want to focus in on and improve.  A few of those areas will be with our special education students and English Learner population.  At the end of the day, all students should be able to succeed and my plan is to allow for that across campus and in our community.

As a community member, I find it ultimately important to build up and highlight the great things occurring in and around our neighborhood school.  Our community will become better for it and at Hart, our students will be the focus in doing so.  I encourage all of our students to get involved with an activity or club of their liking, as outside of the classroom can be just as meaningful as what they are learning inside of it.  I look forward to encouraging your students and request that you do the same.  I also look forward to meeting you soon, thank you for your partnership as we will finish off this excellent school year and move our students into the future!
