Every 15 Minutes

Next Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12th and 13th, we will be holding the “Every 15 Minutes program” on campus. The “Every 15 Minutes” program is presented by local law enforcement agencies in partnership with the city of Santa Clarita and is designed to raise awareness about the consequences of drinking and driving, reckless driving, and texting and driving. Several student program participants will simulate being victims of a tragic incident and there will be a simulated collision scene in front of the school on Tuesday, March 12th, during 5th period. There will also be an assembly on Wednesday during 4th and 5th periods. This program takes place on campus every two years and Juniors and Seniors only will attend the crash scene and assembly. Additional counseling through the counseling office will be available to students who may need additional support during these two days.
