UPCOMING EVENTS 

 
 
On October 25, financial experts from Wells Fargo will be conducting a workshop offering assistance with the FAFSA, financial aid, and tips for financial independence. It's open to all grade levels.  Workshop starts at 8:00 in F44.
 
Golden Valley High School will be hosting the 5th Annual Delta Sigma Theta Sorority African-American College Planning Conference on Saturday, October 28 at 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This event is open to all high school students and parents.  Workshops will focus on the needs of those students in grades 9-12.  The conference will provide a variety of workshops including Financial Aid/Scholarships, Writing your Personal Statement, How to get into your Dream College and What its like being a student athlete.  A College Fair highlighting southern California colleges and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) will also follow the workshops. For more information and instructions for registering, stop by the counseling office.
